It was an era of exploration, an era of innovation for a small town created when the railroad connected Los Angeles and Salt Lake City.
Las Vegas, a town full of gambling pioneers and gangsters, of glitz and beautiful women was where I was destined to be.
My house where I would eventually be born into was in downtown Las Vegas and was a restaurant. Downtown Las Vegas looked very different and was the epicenter of activity for the little Western town.
Boulder Dam, now Hoover Dam, began in 1931 with an average of 3,500 workers per day for over 4-years and boy were those dam workers hungry. When the workers didn’t have enough money for lunch the restaurant owner would allow them to leave a ring or watch or some other piece of jewelry until they could come back with money to pay for their meal.
Well, that was the beginning of Pioneer and well me, Pioneer Sam… and as I’ve watched and have been apart of the ever-changing Las Vegas I had to adapt myself to my beloved community and to her needs.
What will be next…? Well as fait would have it I have close friends who are experts in air conditioning and heating systems and have been servicing our community for over 15 years. We all need air conditioning and heating and then I started having allergies and asthma. That’s never happened to me before and I really like my pets! So we are pioneering the way (pun, intended) for clean air systems. It’s what’s needed, it’s the new horizon for my beloved Las Vegas community!
Thank You for being apart of my beloved Las Vegas community.
